As an entrepreneur and respecter of education, Keith Mann has become a significant philanthropist in the Brooklyn business world. Recently, Business Wire announced that founder and president of Dynamic Search Partners, Keith Mann, has united with Uncommon Schools to establish a scholarship fund for Professional Achievement for Uncommon School students.
Uncommon Schools is a charter school system for low-income students grades K-12. Uncommon Schools began in Brooklyn, New York, and has now expanded to New Jersey and Massachusetts. Mann is a businessman in NYC who began DSP in 2001. He became an expert in the field, and after several years, Mr. Mann recognized that there was a lack of executive search leaders in the hedge fund and equity firms. Today, DSP connects over 200 executives in the hedge fund industry.
DSP has continued to grow in the past 15 years, and there are now offices in Europe and Austrailia. With the success that Mann has had, he now wants to “give back” more than ever, and he makes frequent donations in the community. Keith believes in developing the next generation with leadership skills to lead them to success in the business world.
He established the new scholarship fund to enable graduating seniors to go to college when they may not have been able to before. Every senior is encouraged to enter the contest for the scholarship by writing a 1,000-word essay on why the scholarship would benefit their career. The students submit their essay in February, and in March, the winner is announced and will receive $5,000 toward their college degree.
Mann is joining in the mission of Uncommon Schools to prepare low-income students to attend college. Keith Mann is committing to their education by donating a scholarship every year to assist the next generation. Keith believes, and rightly so, that the future of the country lies in the hands of the children, so they are sowing into the future of NYC.
